One City Down
So I'll be honest...I'm just too tired to fully recollect and explain all the events of the first city so I'll try to just give bulleted lists. If it leaves you in too much anticipation, just let me know on the message board of what topics seem interesting and I can explain more.
-Pwalked, I'm pretty sure, the entire city...possibly the first followers to do so in this city.
-Ate at the same two restaurants the entire time.....there's only so many things you can eat and enjoy 18 times
-Got some surveys done....really interesting answers by the way
-Hung out with a family of fabric merchants
-Played cricket for the first time....pretty fun I guess
-Sat around and talked with a lot of people
-Went to a family's house that really showed some promise
-Rode down the Ganga for about 100 miles...it took us 10.5 hours....I'm tired =)
Tomorrow we leave for city #2...it should be a blast.

You are such an amazing man of God. I am praying for you! Let me know if there is anything specific you need me to pray for. I know you are extremely busy and exhausted, but if you get some down time feel free to shoot me an email @ mizpikz@aol.com so I can be praying for your specific needs! Much love! ♥ Megan
Alan, it sounds like the Lord is stretching you in all the most significant ways - heart, mind and body. I talked with your dad recently and he filled me in on your start up. The Campus Ministries staff is praying for you regularly. Keep up the good work and be encouraged by this word from 2 Tim 4:5, "Keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, and discharge all the duties of your ministry." Your Buddy, BC
Hey...I comment constantly, but I just read an email from Zo about his mission work in Hawaii and this verse just made me automatically think of you. "Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal" II Corinthians 4:16-18. I hope that encourages you! I'm putting it on your wall on Facebook too! :-)
